Sorry for my absence, but so much was happening last week that the blog had to take a back seat.
Anyhow, I am back with a review today. I bought this MUA Cream Blush a few weeks ago and thought it would only be fitting to share it with you
as my blog is named Blush or Nothing.
I wanted to expand into the world of cream blushes as I only had a couple and thought this reasonably priced MUA offering was a good place to start at a mere £2, available from Superdrug. You get 3.2g of product which is less than other cream blushes I have, but admittedly for a lot less pennies.
I bought the shade Dolly which a warm toned, orangey pinky colour. Fairly neutral in any case and because it's not too *POW* in your face, it's nice to add some colour and warmth but doesn't clash with other makeup.
The texture of this is nice, it turns liquidy with the heat of your fingers so my preference is to apply a smudge on my cheeks with my fingers, then blend it out with my Real Techniques stippling brush. It then sets easily and feels not at all sticky or greasy but all smooth and silky (though I don't *think* there are any 'cones in the ingredients but they might be called something different, I am no expert). It sets to an almost-matte finish.
The lasting power of this isn't bomb proof and had pretty much faded by then end of the day. That being said, I think staying power of any blush is partly dependent on the foundation etc you use anyway.
There are three more colours in the range and I think I will have to pick up a couple, especialy as they are so cheap.
x
I need to try this. I bought a MUA lipstick last week and love it- can't believe the prices!

I've not really tried their lipsticks, might look into them. I have to say that for the price it's difficult to go wrong! x
